1) The provider dictates on an easy-to-use digital recorder then uploads the voice files to a secure website by simply placing the recorder into a charger base.
2) The transcriptionist is automatically notified via email when new voice files have arrived, logs into the secure website, then types the progress note, letter, etc. We work with our customers to set up "normal" templates to help them streamline their dictation.
3) The finished documents are automatically delivered to the customer's secure web folder where they can be retrieved for printing, faxing, or uploading to a file system/EMR.
Pricing:
For most dictation, we charge 14 cents per line for a 65-character line. A "line" is calculated by counting visible characters, spaces, returns, and tabs then dividing the total by 65. This allows our customers to use any font or margin they prefer without affecting price. When comparing services, please be aware that some companies count "keystrokes," resulting in a higher line count, and others charge for a full line, even if that line contains only one character.
Turnaround Time:
For clinic dictation, we guarantee a 48-hour turnaround but usually deliver within 24 hours. Turnaround time for interviews, depositions, etc., depends on the length of the project.
Contracts:
We do not impose a lengthy contract, only a 30-day notice of withdrawal in the unlikely event that you no longer wish to use our services.
